Hyatt Place Memphis/Primacy Parkway

To be a Hyatt property needs a lot of improvement...

This hotel is a joke. Called days in advanced to make sure we would be able to pay with cash they assured us over the phone it would be fine with a deposit per night. No big deal. Drove over 7 hrs to get here and they tell us no one told us that and to call the hotel next door.

We started 5 days, snowed in and she told us about Jason’s Deli delivering at the hotel, Jason’s it wasud83dude0bnChelsea is always friendly as well!! Always clean, always friendly, wish there were more than 5 stars!! Oh, many restaurants surrounded by this hotel...

I really enjoyed my stay here. It had been recommended to me by a few people, and never having been to Memphis, I had no idea where to start. So I took the advice and booked, and the next time I come I will book with them again. It's not the fanciest hotel around, but rooms are spacious, location seems to be very central of everything, staff was great, and it was secure enough, but not like trying to get in fort Knox like many hotels, and best of all, aside from comfy beds, it was very clean. They were painting the exterior of the hotel while I was there so they had parts of the parking lot sectioned closed, but the staff went above and beyond to accommodate for any inconvenience. Thanks for a great stay. For the sake of hopefully getting it some attention, the hdmi and other TV ports didn't work in my room, neither the wall or TV. I was looking forward to having my zoom meetings on the television, but I used my laptop on the desk. No harm done, and doesn't change my thought of the property. Nor did I call to have anyone look at it. Just a side note for Hyatt.

I watched 2 different front desk staff talking to guests WITHOUT masks on. I told the front desk guy and he said he would take care of it. I DO NOT believe him since he was one of the staff members who was speaking to a guest without a mask. Also, both times the GUESTS WEREN'T WEARING THEM EITHER! WE ARE IN A PANDEMIC!!! ALL THIS Did was MAKE ME WORRIED ABOUT THE CLEANLINESS OF THE HOTEL. But we had a reservation and from what i read if we had left we would have been charged.
