Savannah Police Department

Needing more traffic stops. At any given time you can do 60 thru town without a notice. I see people texting thru town, very visible, and If I can see them what is the possibility of a cop seeing the same.. I am not an old geezer complaining but a 30 y/o worried about getting side swiped or rear ended with my family in the vehicle. I am not worried about my car either, it looks like crap. I keep hearing about how Savannah needs more revenue but if everybody goes thru town speeding nobody will notice the boutiques, restaurants, or any other store. Plus more tickets itself will bring more revenue in the town plus be a safer place to drive with a possibility of catching people carrying narcotics. All this from traffic stops. If I am wrong, contact me. If not leave me alone.
