Harrison Bay State Park

A great state park. Tennessee has the best state parks. Harrison Bay State Park first Tennessee state park. Great place to visit. There is camping, swimming, biking, fishing places available. Places to have a picnic or to grill out. Many trails to hike like the Bay loop trail which is 4.5 miles. A great trail to hike and see the many different sites. Also the park has the best Park rangers anywhere.nToday we walked the Star Walk trail near the Interpretation center. Photos attached.nnA must visit. A great place to be.

Camp sites are spacious and easy. Loved the open park and nature walks. The individual bathrooms by the lake were fantastic and convenient! Wished the camp site was more wooded but not a big deal. Definitely going back!!

Went for a picnic, very clean but no trash can. We brought it home with us.

The park was well maintained as expected at a state refuge. Visitors were enjoying every outlet available, from camping and fishing to walking and sight-seeing.nnThe Jack Nicholas designed golf course is a mile away from the park entrance.

Beautiful..... I love fishing... And the deer in this park are almost like pets...not too scared of people. If you walk the trails you will see deer everywhere....they are camouflaged
