Great to get outdoors. A few other families at other camp sites at Alum Gap. Lots of water! Could have something to do with the 7 inches of rain that came through on Saturday. Falls were all amazing.

Having visited from Idaho I did not know what to expect in a state park in Tennessee. I was not disappointed. I'd classify the loop to the three falls as an easy to medium difficult hike. Mostly due to uneven paths. Although we missed the beautiful fall colors in their fullness, this area is still very pretty in November. The water around the falls is very chilly but I still enjoyed wading in it and experiencing the crisp refreshing feeling. I would love to come back in all seasons to experience the area in it's fullness.

Didn’t do any hikes due to the rain/snow but the savage station campground is 1-2 minute walk from the parking and has nice flat, tree covered camp site.nnBooked the tent site online about was under $10. The water source is on the short trail into the camp sites.

I went in early November and the trees were absolutely beautiful. The waterfalls are incredibly beautiful.

Little slice of heaven. We went just after a rain, the waterfall was magnificent. Felt good to be out in nature away from the hustle & bustle & insanity that is 2020. The park was clean for the most part, the hike was fantastic & the bathrooms at the ranger station were the cleanest if ever seen at a state park. Can't wait to go again.
