Had a lot of fun here. Currently it is by reservation only which meant we had a one on one tour. It was very interesting to see the history of the city.
Wonderful collection of historical buildings, knowledgeable staff dressed in period attire. A must see. The best hidden gem of Lexington county, SC.
This museum is tucked away in the town of Lexington. However is does not disappoint with colonial housing and memorabilia. Worth the time to take our children to see where our past is. Along with what our ancestors did to innovate to where we are now.
Highly recommend Lexington County Museum! Beautiful buildings and grounds that have been well maintained. There is so much history here that you will need a few hours to explore. A big shout out to Stanley for his knowledge of the grounds and a pleasure to speak with. Looking forward to returning!
Even though we couldn't go in all the buildings due to covid right now, we enjoyed our tour.
