An excellent small museum that is well laid out. Admission is a super reasonable $3 and free on Sundays. I spent an hour on a detailed tour, left knowing a lot about Cayce. Places like this are so important in keeping local history alive.
A interesting place, it takes your mind back to how it use to be for others. Yet beautiful to view.
Surprisingly a cool little museum with a lot of little artifacts including a checker table that general cornwalce played at (there most treasured piece), they also have the oldest wood cabin left in the south east. This is not a place you would spend the whole day but in a hour you will see most of what this place has to offer. Good afternoon trip if you are looking for something to do in Columbia that is a bit off the beaten path.
This is a beautiful museum with so much history. Take advantage of their tour and other fun family activities!
A True hidden gem. Like a little village from the past. Makes a visit to the nearby Cayce River walk much mire interesting ! Staff is So knowledgeable and helpful. Plan to spend an hour or more in museum and walking the grounds. Beauty park with nature trails and a Cinderella pumpkin coach !! Beware the Wildlife !!!
