Gave us a taste of the Fort as we walked around.
Very nice lots of fun facts
Not much left but interesting.
It was something to do on our way through. I wouldn't drive out of my way to see it only but it was nice. New building for the museum. Nice place to walk around and learn a little about history of Indian nations. I found it ironic that the gifts in the gift shop came from China instead of supporting the local artisans. Overall it was a nice experience.
Great place to stop on your way to Broken Bow area. Grounds of old Fort Towson date from the early 1800s. Museum has interesting artifacts from the old fort and also tells of the excavation of an old paddle wheel boat on the Red River. Easy access. About a mile off of US 70.
