Hello I'm a resident of Spencer Oklahoma. they advertised on Craigslist to go today to the post office and the historical society would be there handing out information. I went there and there was a couple of ladies that were welcoming people but not very welcoming. I know they mean well and everything but when I would ask questions it seems like I was bothering them. They did invite me to go to some of their meetings which I plan to someday maybe the next one but after being there it kind of made me feel like I was not the criteria of a person that they would want to come to meetings. I am bipolar and I can't help it but it probably bothers some people and I can understand, so I think I will go to a meeting and try it out and see if I can meet some other people that are more interested in sharing the history of Spencer.
