Classic Content “aka scared to post real name”. There is no such thing as a Mormon prayer. We call it a Christian prayer. Glad you took your child elsewhere since praying to God offends you. Maybe try a private school in San Francisco. They have fought hard to take God out of schools for people like you. This school is fabulous. Teachers sincerely care. Principal is wonderful. I enrolled all 4 of my kids there this year. Best decision ever made.

This was my daughter’s first year of preschool. She has had the best experience! Better than I could have imagined. The teachers are all fabulous, and the school is constantly doing amazing things like service projects, cool fundraisers, educational fairs etc. I love Ivy Hall! Can’t wait for her to go back next year and send my other daughter.

Me and my wife had no idea that the school would participate in a mormon prayer during various events, and were blindsided when everybody folded their arms for prayer at a school program. This was odd, and we did not know this was apart of the school's culture. Additionally, a teacher implied to my spouse near the end of the preschool year, that our child had dyslexia, because she writes backwards. This was in PRESCHOOL and that behavior is normal. She is now in a new school attending kindergarten, progressing at a normal pace. The principle was a little overbearing with her "matter of fact" personality, but this may just be a symptom of an overly hard work ethic. I guess we just felt alienated a bit. My kid ultimately had a good time and made friends, so i give 3 stars.

I love Ivy Hall! The class sizes are small so the students get more personal attention and work on projects together. They work together, with the teacher, to learn as a group, and the teachers are in direct contact with parents (which is AWESOME!!!). They teach the 7 Habits, leadership, and citizenship. Their education is multifaceted and works on developing the whole child, which is fabulous for children who may struggle to learn. They can be recognized for their strengths and the teachers are very willing to help each child succeed and thrive. There is a sense of school-wide community and friendship. The older students adore the younger students and vice versa. There is no bullying, laughing at others, or tripping in the hallway. Students are taught and expected to treat others with kindness, understanding and respect. They are taught to work hard and keep trying, even when things are hard.
