Thales is the best thing that has ever happened to my second grader. We were previously at a public school for kindergarten and 1st grade where he seemed to struggle and not enjoy reading. Since we have started at Thales he is reading 1000x better and ENJOYS reading and is now very into chapter books. His handwriting has improved as well as his attitude about school. His younger brother started kindergarten this year at Thales and is doing way more than my older son did in K OR 1st in our public school. Hands down the best decision we ever made for their education. My husband was not thrilled about the idea of private school because our public school is rated very highly but even he agrees that it was the best decision.

I cannot say enough about this incredible school! My daughter started this year in kindergarten in the middle of the COVID-19 crisis, and every member of the administration and teaching staff has gone above and beyond to keep our kiddos safe and happy. The academics are incredible as well. My daughters reading and writing ability has exploded and she’s developed such a love for math in just the first year. The teachers are so caring and loving and pour into the children every single day. If you are even considering sending your child to Thales, RUN, don’t walk and apply today! You will not regret it for one second!

We could not be happier with Thales Academy in Waxhaw for our kindergartner. Our son has flourished in every level. We took a chance and decided to send him instead of going to Lancaster publix school and has it paid Off!!! He is being challenged and is now in a first grade math and reading level! He LOVES going to school and we are so thankful that with Covid they decided to open and stay open because of the amazing procedures they offer to keep everyone safe. The administration and staff has been beyond amazing and professional. We can’t say enough good things about this school and all that it has done for our child!

My son was part of the inaugural Kindergarten class when this campus opened in 2018. We toured another campus in the Raleigh area prior to choosing Thales for our son. We have been very impressed with Thales Academy in the 3 years we have been sending him. The brand new building is very welcoming with huge windows and beautiful murals inside. The number of students has grown every year. Although it is still a relatively small school, they still provide all the benefits of a larger institution. Technology, Art, Music, and PE are taught every week. Thales utilizes locally-owned restaurants to offer a variety of hot lunch options every day. Throughout the year, they also provide access to a number of after school programs such as Spanish lessons, running clubs, cooking classes, computer programming. Thales is a year-round school. Students have a 5-week summer break and 3, 3-week breaks in between 4 semesters, called Tracks. We have always been impressed by the administration and teachers.

Awful. They think they are better than everyone and try to put your child in a lower grade if they come from public school. Don’t waste your time. Also, they don’t recognize 504 or IEP’s and discriminate against children with disabilities. What a nightmare, so incredibly disappointed. Avoid at all costs.
