This school is awesome. This is my daughter's first year in an American school. While she was great with math and speaking, reading English is a different story.nWhile abroad, I worked with her at home but I didn't work those pesky site words.nThis school has caring teachers. They have a strong ESL program and their assessments were spot on. By the end of the second quarter, my daughter was reading and writing at grade level. But most importantly, she enjoyed it.
Absolutely terrible experience. When I enrolled my son they asked me wildly inappropriate questions about the location of my sons father, who I was residing with, and were plain rude. Then my child went from loving school to hating it. He was in kindergarten with an hour of homework each night then I find out the teacher was striking him for wrong answers. When I approached the school about this I was verbally attacked.
First let me start off with the teachers are garbage. They don't seem to really put forth the effort they send my son home saying he cannot site any of his site words so I sit him down and worked with him for 30 mins he went back knowing all the required site words and at the end of the yr he walked out of kindergarten knowing 250 site words but not bc of the teachers.nSecondly, my daughter was withdrawn from the school without my consent and retained without informing me. The teacher withdrew her bc my 6 yr old daughter said she was moving she is a 6 yr old child, come on. I would advise you to look into a different school.
Smh ud83eudd26ud83cudffe♂ufe0f a school with no graduations ? Wow my son is in kindergarten and there isn't a graduation no cap and gown ud83cudf93 wow very sad and horrible for any school my child won't attend this school after this school year
