I went in to have my nails done. The girl that did them did an amazing job! I have been here before and still got the same service. This is my go to place. I am picky about where I go to have my nails done. I will be back. ud83dude42

I had scheduled an appointment to get my nails done. I told them I had sns powder and tips on my nails, and I wanted it removed with fresh sns powder done. When I got there, I sit down and the woman working on me asked what was on my nails currently. I said “sns powder with tips, but I don’t want tips this time, I want to leave my natural nail since I like it’s length”. She didn’t respond, but started cutting my nails. She kept going lower and lower until she was cutting my natural nail, which I had JUST told her I liked the length of and wanted to leave. I kept pulling my hand back so she wouldn’t cut it and she grabbed my hand forcefully and pulled it back to her so she could cut it. Then when I said “I didn’t actually want you to cut my natural nail” she said “I didn’t cut it, it’s right there, see?” But she had cut them down at least half way on each side. From then on she had an attitude. She made a comment, in Spanish, across the floor to another employee, “she keeps looking at her nails because I cut them but she didn’t say she didn’t want them cut”. I didn’t say anything, I didn’t pull back anymore, I just let her work. I didn’t want to cause problems. But then she put my hands in a bowl of acetone (which I have never had sns removed by soaking in a bowl of acetone- always ALWAYS with the acetone soaked cotton and foil wrap) and she kept going over to the first woman and talking about me. I sat there with my hands in acetone for over 45 minutes. Of that 45 minutes, the woman was at the table for about 10 minutes. She came to the table two times after putting my hands in the bowl. She was completely silent after telling me she didn’t cut my nails, but her posture and how she handled me, the short amount of time that she did, was full of anger. All because, and I quote, I kept “looking at my nails”. At this point, I’m completely embarrassed. I’m frustrated. And I’m in massive amounts of pain from my hands sitting in a chemical for the better part of an hour. Then a third woman comes to the table. She is much nicer and I assume the manager as multiple people would approach asking about prices and whatnot. She keeps asking if it hurts and apologizing for hurting me. Then a fourth woman (she was so nice!! We had a great chat while she was working) applies the new sns powder. I thought she did a great job, it looked fine (a little bumpy, but sns powder is difficult to work with so I didn’t have an issue with it). Then I get home and I was scratching my arm (gently! And about five hours later!) and the top coat on one of the nails chipped. What???? Here we are on Monday, my appointment was Saturday. Four nails had the top coat come off completely, two nails chipped, and one split down the middle. My nails and hands still hurt immensely, they never stopped, they are still stiff and rough. I called to see about getting my money back so I could go to another place and get my nails done properly and I was told my options were to come in today at 6:30 and have them remove it or have them take the product off the one nail that’s split down the middle and put top coat on the other three. The manager kept interrupting me when I tried to tell her ALL the nails were peeling, but four nails were completely peeled off. I tried telling her I live over an hour away and wouldn’t be able to make it at 6:30 and they didn’t do a good job the first time anyway and I wasn’t comfortable there after what happened Saturday, so why would I want to come back, and she once again refused to give me my money back (when I hadn’t even asked for it again, she just kept saying “we don’t do refunds”). I just want to get my nails to stop hurting at this point but apparently that’s too much to ask of this place.
