Bessemer City Police Department

I lost my wallet.. (pregnancy brain) I left it on top of my car and drove off ud83dude02 Officer Worley was super nice when he returned it and if it wasn’t for him double checking for an address it would have been put in evidence and not returned unless I called. My license doesn’t have an updated address, so he searched more through it and found an insurance card with the accurate address. Thanks to his thorough job it was returned. Also, I must say, as a citizen of Bessemer, I have never seen any officer look unkept in there uniform. Each of them wear their uniform neatly and pressed. Appearance is important, and they always look nice and neat! Thank you Bessemer Police! ud83dude0a

My family and I would like the thank the BC police department for being so supportive and understanding. We have a child with PTSD that often acts out without any control of emotions. On many occasions, the BC police were at our house to assist with hostile situations. At all times, they were beyond supportive and offered assistance in any way they could. They also stop by on occasion to see how things are going and are very genuine. Office Morgan and his team are top notch. It is and always will be human nature to find the negative regarding people or a public service. Without hesitation, our police department is one of the best. I wish I could remember the names of all the officers that assisted in the last 5 years. Just know you where not forgotten and will always be appreciated. You are appreciated! Be safe out there guys and thank you again for all you have done for us!! We could not have done it without you!!!!!! You mean the world to us.

Other than what appears to be pulling too many people over for traffic stops, I think they do a pretty good job.nnEspecially the one in the unmarked grey mustang. As small as Bessemer City is, do we actually need an unmarked car with a wannabe race car driver rolling around to generate more revenue by traffic tickets?

I would like to thank all of The men and women law enforcement officers for doing what they do and putting on the uniforms everyday to help keep the public safe. I really appreciate what you do. I back the blue.
