Easy loop trail with historical markers and monuments for the Revolutionary battle site. Neat walking self tour they added since I've been here last. You can dial the number on your phone and hear background for certain spots, pretty neat feature!

Beautiful place. So much history. Will go back when we make another trip to the area.

My 4th great grandfather was wounded here and I came as a kid too see his name on the plaque. It was a *really* hot July day and I was small - we did the full loop around and I'm glad we did though I still remember it was quite grueling for a wee lad. Happened to be driving by last month and took a few mins to show my daughter. (Full circle!) We went counter clockwise to do the quick quarter mile directly to the obelisk. Wish we had had more time but, still, to read the park's pamphlet and a couple of the signs on the path was really great. Especially along with some other accounts and videos you can find online, it's easy to picture the battle going down. Being such an important one, which historians say was the beginning of the tide turning in the colonists' favor, well worth even a quick visit if you're in the area.

Coupled this with a trip to Cowpens battelfield which brought the historical experience to another level.

Wonderful exhibit. Walk is about 1.5mi with some inclines. Walking surface was easy to walk on. Markers paint a picture of the battles which took place.
