You will want to visit it often enough to make a membership worth it. Great place for kids. The Museum makes good use of the available space. Cannot wait for them to expand.

We had a nice time, and it kept our toddler entertained for over an hour. Hands-on exhibits are great.nnDon't set your expectations too high, though. This is a very small museum and shouldn't be compared to what's available in larger cities.nnWe hope to continue to support AMOS in the hopes that local patronage will help it to grow. Asheville needs places like this to help foster lifelong interest in the sciences.

I spent the whole morning there with my three years old who loved it. The price is reasonable. I have been in bigger children museums but they cost four times more. They have a great collection at the shop. Someone mentioned something about homeless, they were two when I went and they were just seating there, staying warm. I don’t get why people get annoyed at the sight of someone just trying to stay warm

Went with a family of 6. Saw the price and was interested. 6 people under 50. 2 rooms and a gift shop. Kids were bored with the hands on in less than 10 minutes. This place blows. Guess you get what you pay for here. Never again even if I won free passes

I wanted to love this place so much. While there are some cool interactive activities, the cost of admission does not reflect what you get to experience. The museum is very small and some of the activities aren’t in operation due to Covid. It would be cool if they did a locals price.
