I just finished chatting with a representative on the Sears Appliance Repair Service website. I was hoping to schedule an appointment to have a service tech to come to my home & repair my hot water heater. The pilot will not stay lit long enough to light the burner. Since, I have already researched at length to the nature of what my problem is and what the repair consists of, I know the repair is easily performed and cheap to be done. However, the earliest I was told I could be helped or they could get a tech out to my repair is over 2 weeks from now. I cannot wait two weeks for such a simple repair. This is unacceptable. I have used this service several different times before and never have had a problem getting repair service on the day I called or atleast by the next. I am a widow and I don't trust just anyone coming into my home. If 2 weeks is the normal wait time for every repair scheduled, looks like more tech need to be brought in or your service shut down. I will find someone to repair my problem even if I have to pay double.

Home Depot staff requested that I thank the Sears Appliance Technician that never showed up to replace the dryer belt on my Samsung dryer after numerous calls,Home Depot sold me a new washer and dryer.Sorry Sears, my wife is already talking about purchasing a new refrigerator/ freezer and you've been crossed if the list..
