Harrison County Animal Control

Called this morning and Mr Hurd from Animal Control was out within an hour. Was very friendly and professional. Thank you for the help.

We had to report two lost Standard Poodles, with no collar, 3 Animal Control vehicles came out quickly and worked diligently with us to capture them. They were not chipped so I hope they got back to their owners. We fondly named them Sugar and Cinnamon!

We had a friendly cat move into our backyard, but it looked well cared for and had a nice collar on (no tags). So after a few days I called Harrison County Animal Control to come get the cat, in case someone was looking for it or in case it had a chip. The officer came very quickly and was able to secure the cat without much trouble at all. He said a lady had been looking for a cat that fit this description, so hopefully it has been reunited with its owner. Thank you very much to Harrison County Animal Control!

Found two dogs running on the beach with no collars. Called a couple times, and got directed to the police department who told us that an animal control officer was on the way. Waited over 3 hours with the dogs and they no showed us.

I have been calling for 2 days and finally and officer went out and checked on the dog, so I have been told the dog is fine and he is healthy, yay! cause I was worried he was just left there. Thanks Animal Control for checking on him.
