Rick's Ace Hardware

This is a real hardware store with staff who know everything about everything. The service is top notch and they have a little bit of anything you will ever need for home projects. High quality merchandise! I love going to this store.

Every person who works here is so friendly, knowledgeable, & willing to help! A few weeks ago I stopped in to get some ratchet straps while I was moving but had no idea how to use them. I asked for assistance & the employees all made sure the furniture was safely secured in my pick-up truck. They seemed to be a bit pricey but what do you expect for a small hardware store in West County.

Of it was about the absolute lowest price, go to he big box stores. Prices here are reasonable. But you are supporting a small franchisee. You are talking with and getting service from wonderful people. The experts really are experts. And they support more small businesses with some of the products they buy, unlike BigBoxDepot.

I recently moved to Des Peres and Rick’s is much closer to my house than any of the big box stores like Lowe’s, Home Depot, or Menard’s. The employees at Rick’s are very helpful and seem to know their stuff. They also have more products than you would think from the look of the place – it’s sneakily spacious.

They have everything you should need for basic home stuff. The people there are not that helpful. I miss the Handymans Hardware store by my old house.
