An absolutely gorgeous day for walking along the river. Spent some time with my daughter chatting and relaxing.nFelt a million miles from our worries. .

Only go if you are a history nerd. Very quick visit, 30 minutes to take in exhibit. Staff very friendly.

The Lewis and Clark Museum was a surprisingly exceptional museum. Nestled on the western bank of the Missouri River off of the beaten path, I did not expect it to be so well-designed. The exhibits were beautiful and thoughtfully ordered. I enjoyed learning about the Corps of Discovery and the people, flora, and fauna they encountered on their expeditions. I was astounded at how much history was packed into such a tiny space. I am so excited that I can coordinate a virtual field trip for my 4th grade class this year! Miss Jan who runs the Gift Shop was so sweet, helpful, and patient as my daughter and I kept bringing more and more things to the counter. I always buy gifts for my students when I travel and the keel boat pens that we found there will be a hit with my kids. Aside from the scorpion lollipops I found in Sedona years ago, these pens are my most unique gift yet. We will visit again when my daughter transfers to Lindenwood University in the fall!

Spent most of my time in the gift shop where I got nostalgic with all the older novelty merch that was a great throwback to my childhood and simpler times.
