Northern Tool + Equipment

I've had the most amazing experience when it comes to northern tool. They went above and beyond to make me a satisfied customer. I ordered a truck rack for my business and needed it in a timely manner and they made sure I had it in time for a job. Like I said they went above and beyond to help me out and make sure I was satisfied. I definitely recommend northern tool and will shop with this company for years to come cause they really do make a customer feel important. I went into Northern Tool and Equipment not knowing what I would need to fix something that was wrong with the trailer I use for my business. I had been to a few other places before and I was not given any real advice on what would help me fix my trailer correctly. The manager of the store, Eric Scott, was amazing and took the time to listen to my problem and everything I had tried previously to fix my trailer. He immediately had the solution and explained how to fix the problem with the correct tool. Not only did he have me smiling and laughing, he made me feel that even my problem was important for him to help figure out as well. I will recommend Northern Tool and especially Eric Scott to all my friends and family. I will be returning for all future needs to this store.

Order some things on-line. Was provided a time when I could pick the order up with my paid receipt. Provided receipt at store and was told I'd have to provide an other payment which would be removed when my original clears. Just bought a $500.00+ and I'm having it shipped to my house for extra $ as opposed to picking it up at store for free. I will never set foot in that store again.

I've been to this location several times. Its always been a good experience for me. In my mind, Northern Tool is a step up from the Harbor Freight experience. You see trustworth name brands alongside cheaper offerings. The have people that are fairly knowledgeable and a parts counter. The pricing is generally very competitive. The store has always been well kept as well.

Lifetime warranty is a waste. They refused to return a torque wrench I paid about 200$ for. Torque wrench had never been abused or even close to maxed out drive end snapped off. I'm a mechanic for a living. I've probably spent 20grand over the years at this store. I will not waste my money at northern tool any more. When you buy a tool and they say it has a lifetime warranty you may as well throw it at the garage can when it breaks. Save some money and go to harbor freight or Amazon. Dont let northern tool eat your launch.
