Great little museum with a great staff. Very friendly and accommodating. Did a photo shoot inside the hangar and they were more than happy to help me make the shots I wanted possible. Their collection is quite amazing. From the Connie to the DC-3 to the airplane that Harrison Ford crashed in California. This is a place that every aviation enthusiast should visit.

The good: Cool collection of aviation history. Seeing how airlines performed in the past is eye opening and nothing like it is today. This collection is worth seeing, it’s worth the time and money. The gentleman working in the office is kind and knowledgeable of all the items they have. If you’re an aviation nut like me this is a must while in KC.nnThe bad: Visited during second week of August 2020 and the hanger was a little warm. Few hands on exhibits closed due to Covid ud83dude14

An interesting place that’s jammed full of things to see. Would be even neater if the piles of stuff strewn about the hanger were organized and labeled. I was more interested in what wasn’t actually displayed then what was!

There are not many signs to tell you about the planes display. There are two planes that you can go inside. Since they are trying to restore them, they ask for a donation to go through them. There was a gentleman who spoke with us and he was friendly and knowledgeable. Overall, this was a small museum that was neat to visit.
