Great time on Back Creek!

Small kid friendly park

We watched Passing Strings play there at the Maritime Museums event on Thursdays called Tides and Tunes. It's moved from their location in Eastport to this one. It's a more forest area but hey it's a really nice area and the audience was great.

Hidden Gem on Back creek.

This is a nice little park and a rare public water-access site within Annapolis city limits. There are 2 parking areas connected by a nature trail through the woods. The smaller parking area is near the dock and boat launch ramp, & has just a few spaces. The other parking area is much bigger but further away. There are picnic tables and a water fountain, but no bathrooms, at the boat launch area. If there are bathrooms at the other end of the park, I didn't see them. The boat ramp is non-slip metal, so you won't get muddy launching a kayak here. The park is in the midst of several marinas full of very fancy and impressive yachts & sailboats, and near side creeks lined with beautiful waterfront homes to sight-see. Not much wildlife to see, other than ducks, as this is a very built-up area with a lot of human activity.
