The Prime Rib at Live! Casino & Hotel

A bit pricey but great food and atmosphere

All I can say is what a disappointment. After seeing the menu and reading the reviews, I was so excited to have dinner at the Prime Rib.nnI came on a Sunday for a 630pm reservation for a party of 3. The hostess greeted us with a warm, friendly smile. Took our temperature and we were seated right away. Our server was attentive and informative. But that's were it all stops. So the 2 * goes to the hostess and the server.nnThe problem was the kitchen/chef. Learn meat temperatures please. I ordered the bone in prime rib. It was severely over cooked and DRY!!! My other party guest had the NY strip. It was supposed to be medium well. It was medium rare. The 3rd guest had the scallops that were tasty but for the price they charge, you need to give more than 5 scallops. The lobster mac n cheese had me asking...where is the lobster? There was barely any for $20.nnWe wanted to but a bottle of wine or champagne for the table. I don't know if it was due to cut backs from covid or this was just what we were told but the server said, we are not selling bottles to tables....WHAT!!??nnI was not impressed at all by the food. I would not recommend nor would I go back.

Short and simple, the food delicious and cooked to order. We had 12 people at two different tables, and I believe everyone ordered something different. Everyone was satisfied. Drawbacks, trying to find the place. GPS is only good to get you to the casino area, then your on your own. 2nd, people at casino believe the street is a sidewalk so be careful. Have never been to the Prime Rib in Baltimore and would have gone there instead, but they could not accommodate our large party, try downtown first. That's if you're not planning on gambling after dinner.

Good Food a little pricey.

Foods always great and huge portions. Coffee is always hot and tasty and staff is always friendly and attentive.
