Matapeake Clubhouse and Beach

Visited July 5th. Friend was looking for beaches and stumbled upon this 1. Small beach which is gr8 in times like these. Social Distancing enforced; only a certain # of folks allowed on the beach and the wait to get in was not that bad considering it was a busy holiday weekend. VERY FRIENDLY people EVERYWHERE from staff to beachgoers! ;+)

First time here, there were a few jelly fish, but noticeable, it was a small strip with soft sand and shallow water! It was very fun to bring my dog and friends to have a mini beach experience!

Small beach, lots of parking, fishing pear with boat launch one lot over from small beach. Don't forget to ring the bell before and after your beach visit

Nice little beach on the other side of the bridge (depending on where you're coming from)! We loved it. There's also public boat ramp that you can launch your boat from.

Same as the other reviewers, this beach was a great find! Unfortunately, there was a lot of jellyfish, even little ones and I saw several people get stung. So we didn’t get in the water. It was a great place to relax by the water however, and the separate dog beach was fun to see.
