Charged me $150 for a hem on 2 dresses..ridiculous!!

I took my wedding dress and veil to be cleaned and boxed. Even bringing my own box that was previously used for this dress, I was still charged $185. It's cleaned; however, I will not be returning to this store.nnI unboxed my dress months later to get the veil out for my sister-in-law. I was panicked to feel like it wasn't even in the box; however, it was located, smashed and folded in half along the side of the box. Not to mention the fact that there were staples, safety pins, scotch tape, and my dress, hanging on a metal wire inside the box as well. I'm not a cleaner, but I did buy my dress and veil from a girl who previously had it cleaned and boxed. She unboxed it right in front of me, so I know what a good cleaning job can, and in my opinion, should look like, especially for $185 when I brought my OWN box for them to put it in.nnI will never bring another item to this shop again. I'm beyond disappointed in the quality of work for the outrageous price. I could, and did rebox my dress more professionally, removing all the extra metal pieces. I'm glad I own a steamer so I could remove the wrinkles before loaning my veil out. If I didn't have that, I would have looked really stupid offering it to her in the state it was given back to me. When I previously unboxed my veil, it was draped over top the dress and you better believe it didn't look like it does in these pictures.
