Harrah's New Orleans

We had to wait almost a extra 3hrs after check-in time to get our room. They only had one receptionist at the counter so we had to wait in a long line each time to speak to her. Once we got our room it was nice but no one would answer the phone at the counter when we called for a question. Their was an old used coffee filter left in our coffee machine. The second night we push the button for room service to take care of our room. We was gone the whole day into the late night, the light was still on and room service never stepped in our room. Only 2 staff members at the counter was polite, the first white lady we spoke with and the very last black lady on our last night. Their was a couple of black ladies at the counter we spoke with in between the time we was their that wasn't polite at all. But we rate it a 2 cause the room was nice and our water was hot.

The casino rooms are always nice. The staff are attentive and they make sure that you feel welcomed. I've never had any issues at the hotel. Clean rooms, and friendly staff! I love coming here to stay!

Harrah's was bigger than I thought! Hotel was across the street, but you didn't have to go outside to get to the casino. If you go, make sure to check outside, river across the street, fun places in the alley way. Just wished more was open. Also trolley right there to go places.

Was given a dirty room, employee didn't apologize or show any empathy, simply gave us keys to a new room.nnTrying to call for service was a hassle as the phone was rarely answered. Called for 2 blankets and 1 pillow. 1 blanket was dropped off, never received the rest.nnThe common areas weren't cleaned frequently, looked at the same trash on the floor for 3 days.nnThe rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The casino is nice and convenient but the hotel lacked in some amenities. The coffee bar didn't adhere by the posted hours.

Great Hotel. Staff was super nice and vary accommodating when I needed something.nI'm about 50/50 when it comes to liking hotel bedding. This time it was uncomfortable. My TV had a large gray stripe through it. Forgot to mention that to guest services.nStill was one of my most enjoyable times in town.
