The rooms are clean and comfortable. The lodge is in a pleasant location with very friendly staff. Every meal was delicious and I must recommend the bread pudding which is easily the best I have ever had. The open DIY bar adds a very homely feel.nnWe were here to go fishing and they took excellent care of us. This is a fantastic location to fish, as a visiting Brit I found the different options meant I was able to enjoy a plethora of experiences.nn5/5 for Gross Savanne Lodge, I will visit again.

Beings that this is a private club, it's most definitely a unique experience. What's really cool is that the staff is super attentive, but at the same time they give you and your group plenty of space to just relax and be catered to. While hunting and fishing are usually the main attraction, what you actually experience there is so much more. Sylvia Hankin is the head chef there. Cooking is her passion, and her heart goes into every meal. She customizes each menu, everyday, and her meals NEVER disappoint. I highly recommend you go at least once...you'll most DEFINITELY want to keep coming back!

WOW.....that's all I have. Will not be disappointed no matter what your sport is that this place has to offer. Incredible!
