Gideons Elementary School

School needs to be torn down and rezone the area. Crack houses, abandoned houses, shoot outs, drug dealing and the list goes on takes place on this street and around. I would NEVER send my child to this school even if it was the last school on earth. Lived in the Pittsburgh community and drove all the way to Kirkwood in East Atlanta to take my son to school. I even saw this school on the First 48 because there was a shootout right across the street and during SCHOOL HOURS!!! Terrible. Never regretted not sending him there. People should have more pride in the neighborhood enough to care about the safety of kids.

I loved going to this school when I was a kid Ms Perkins was my all time favorite teacher who taught me alot Mr Saltters was a amazing principle who had a cool paddle named Jaws!!

It was awesome going there and the teachers really taught me a lot of what I know now they have a gifted program and classes that teach very well ud83dude03ud83dude06ud83dude0bud83dude04

I'm going to that school now and they are about to put me in gifted
