I donated my horse, Diesel, to the Atlanta mounted police department in August of 2013. He was apprehensive about getting onto the trailer but when he arrived at the stable, I could see the joy he felt being at his new home. I am so happy I chose this group of wonderful people to take care of Diesel! He has been loved beyond words! This team is wonderful and they work so hard for the safety of our community.

The APD Mounted Unit is made up of some of the nicest officers in the country. I can say they truly care for the animals after volunteering with them for 3 years.
