Joiner Crossing Apartments

who thought it was a good idea to put an apartment complex right beside train tracks.... says nothing about the train tracks online.

Just moved in one week ago. The home is a decent size and location is a balance between privacy and convenience. The home itself is cookie cutter with basic necessities. This is not a luxury complex by any means, but it’s nice for what it is. The biggest issues are communication with both management and maintenance. Their office hours are extremely short, and even their emergency service line is a voicemail box that doesn’t seem to get checked.nnMy first day, there was a new refrigerator that never got installed while the old broken one was still in place. I was told someone would come by and install it. That never happened. I ended up installing it myself and the old fridge is still sitting outside on the sidewalk a week later. My dishwasher was also broken. No water was pumping into the machine. I called about this and sent an email as well. No response at all. Ended up fixing this myself as well. The electrical water valve switch wasn’t installed properly.nnOn my 6th day, my AC stopped functioning properly. I have the house set at 72, but it can’t keep it below 81. I checked the unit and someone had left the Freon valve open. I’m assuming some of the refrigerant escaped. I’ve emailed management and they said that someone will contact me soon. It’s been about 3 hours since that email and no phone call. The weather forecast this week is consistently above 90. We will see how this request works out.

Been calling for a couple weeks but never can talk to anyone. But still interested in getting an apartment.

Move in January 2020, fridge broke May 19 2020 And fixed on May 27, 2020. They brought me a dirty fridge to replace it. They would not compensate me for my food being spoiled and having to be thrown out. They said they do not compensate for this issue.nnThis is not the only thing they did:nDay 1 in the apartment my brand new dish washer and a/c did not work.

The units are aesthetically appealing and the property manager is great however the walls are extremely thin, I can't stress this enough. I usually have to sleep in the living room because I can hear my upstairs neighbor playing video games until 6am, you can loudly hear footsteps as well. I've lived in numerous town homes/apartments and I have never heard everything my neighbor is doing... kind of a nightmare.
