Jonesboro Police Department

Got blue light WHILE sitting at a red light, the officer first said I didn’t have insurance once I gave him my insurance information he went to his car came back then said my registration was expired. Received a nice ticket and was told once I came to court the ticket would be reduced if my registration was up to date. Got to court with documents SHOWING my registration was up to date and guess what.....ticket wasn’t reduced! Worst county in the Atlanta metro area!! Stay away from there if you can.

If i could give zero stars I would they have nothing better to do but sit and wait for petty traffic tickets to fine you with .They gave me a ticket a day before my birthday smh.

All and I mean ALL officers in Clayton county are here to only protect and serve themselves. I’ve never felt so unsafe around people’s whose sole job was to make u feel safe. I know victims of actual crimes that even 10 years later there is no justice. But jay walk to go 3 miles over the speed limit you will get a ticket and backup called on you. I remember having an out tail middle light in 2011 and it took 5 cop cars and a cop truck just to give me a ticket for a middle brake light! If I could choose where my tax money went it would never go to Clayton county police ...... ever

officer lee is very rude. she does not consider people's time or work life. every time you come in the facility it is not a welcoming at all. They are all about money. they make u sit in the cold and they have a heater in the waiting area that you cant touch. She threatened to lock me up because my phone was powered down in my hand. I had a speeding ticket and officer lee purposely schedules me at times where I don't get paid just to threaten to penalize me. You can go in with the best attitude possible and officer lee is as mean as ever. My daughter calls her a wicked witch. Stay far away as possible from this place as possible. PLEASE PLEASE GET RIDE OF THIS LADY OFFICER LEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Terrible at doing things in a timely manner, withheld my property for more than 48hrs because paperwork hadn’t been completed
