I'm really happy with this school! Love the ESE program for my son! The crossing guards are super friendly. Watch out for an African American woman on staff, she is a hard ass

my son chanler attended 4th and 5th grade at sugarmill elementary. In my opinion they have The BEST administration and teachers in Volusia county by far. My son transferred from RJ long street very behind academically and experienced behavioral health problems.within a few weeks of starting he received the help he needed to start succeeding behavior wise and ademically. The guidance councelor has her drs degree and in my opinion is a child genius! She and his teachers Linda Weeks,ms smith and mr DaDea changed our life and chanler is now on track to suceed! My son Daniel is currently a 1st grader and we have had nothing but great experiences being in the sugarmill family. We sure gave the staff a challenge the last few years.
