For 4 years my autotrain experience was great. This year we didn’t board the train until 6:30 pm instead of 3:30. The train broke down in S.Carolina and we had to wait another 5 1/2 hours for a new engine and crew. We waited several times for north bound trains to go past so we can continue I will have been on this train for over 24 hours ! Horrible ! ! !

Nice train. I was here a couple of yrs ago. The train was nice! The conductor was super kind!! The dinner wasn’t so great but the breakfast was great. The bathrooms were too small though!! The beds were not comfortable though!

I absolutely love taking the auto train. Big Chris always makes sure each experience is a good one the whole way. Today Mr. Carter and Big Chris made sure I was comfortable and they went above and beyond to make sure I had my medicine after forgetting it in my car. Definitely very thankful and will continue to take this auto train. THANKS BIG CHRIS AND MR. CARTER!!

Terrible people here. They think it’s a joke when they damage your vehicle because of waivers signed and laugh when your upset because of there incompetence. Along with the trip taking 17 hours longer then expected, they did not let me know about delays with cause me to miss important meeting and loss of money from hotel room being paid for that I didn’t use do to being stuck on train. DO NOT use auto train if you care about your car or have and important limited time lifestyle.!

Sanford Florida is southern end of Amtrak Auto Train. This is our first time taking it and we really like it. We rented a roomette which was smaller than we imagined but actually quite comfortable. The food was good and our attendant, Mark, was wonderful. He helped us understand how everything worked.
