Neat place to learn about phosphate mining and its impact on the area as well as seeing the fossils. Very neat that the museum is housed in an old train depot. Ample parking for vehicles...nothing big though like pulling a travel trailer. Nice, clean Restrooms available. Very friendly staff.

It was Gr8! Kids loved the Big crane bucket, digging in mound of rocks caboose & Fossils. Mask worn, sanitizer in use, Clean Restroom available. Enjoyed Bigger Digger. Thanksud83dudc4dud83cudffd⭐

Interesting little museum. Cool local info and history. It only takes a half hour or so to read the info and look at the small exhibits. Worth a quick looksee if you are in the area. Fairly Basic.

As a museum, the phosphate museum is wonderful. I truly felt like the museum is dedicated to the preservation of early florida history and educating patrons. Entrance is free, kids and adults can enjoy it. Please leave any donation you can if you go.

Not a lot to see but it was interesting for my kids and they did enjoy seeing the fossils but they're favorite was digging in the huge pile to find shark teeth and fossils. We did find several teeth but recommend bringing a small shovel and sifter for digging.
