Their mechanic service I think is less well-known (as most people go there for a car wash), but it’s great! So friendly, prompt and professional and at a great rate. I have had a few different things done on my car there and was very happy with my service. The car wash itself is great, too!

I am very surprised at my recent visit to pelican car wash in Palm Harbor. Usually I have no issues that arise during service at this location. However, today I was hit With a plethora of issues, none ending in a satisfactory resolution. I have four vehicles that I bring to the Palm Harbor location of pelican car wash first services. All my vehicles are detailed at this location, to also receive oil changes from this location, I even have used other services at this location to include new headliner put in my truck, and a half my truck windows retinted. Needless to say I have been a very loyal and regular customer a Pelican car wash since coming here from Hawaii in 2016.nnYesterday February 16, 2021 I brought my Honda accord to have the “ultimate” (one of the selections) for car detailing done. The end result of that wash was I had to point out several things that needed to be redone, and the manager advise one of the employees to return the vehicle through the car wash and start again. After 2.5 hours at this location the vehicle was done at a mediocre quality. Today February 17, 2021 I returned with my Dodge charger to get another detail service also the “ultimate” done on this vehicle. Not to mention that back in December 2020 when I had my oil changed and the Dodge charger at this location they give you a free car wash with your oil change, they forgot to put my floor mats back in my vehicle when I called they said to remind them and that at the next visit they would hold them and put them back in my vehicle for me.nnNeedless to say, right off the bat they did not have my floor mats to be able to put them back in my car. Then the car goes through the Touch free car wash and then brought to the front for them to start detailing it. One of the employees holds up the rag which indicates that your vehicle is complete. I walked over to the vehicle show them where there was still dirt visible, The employee wiped down that area and then asked if I had my ticket, I then proceeded to show her for more locations where there was dirt on the vehicle, to include the inside door jams the crevices of the trunk where there was also leaves from a tree.nnAfter showing them the issues that still needed to be addressed for my vehicle to be clean she then told me that if I want in my car re-washed it would be $29.99. First of all I just paid for my car to be detailed I shouldn’t have to pay for them to rewash it because they didn’t do a good job in the first place. Second of all when they say that they’re going to vacuum and wipe down everything in your car they should do is they advertise this is the first time that I have left the pelican car wash in Palm Harbor without them fixing the issues satisfactory. This is no way to treat customers, especially customers who are loyal and bring four vehicles to your location for your services.nnToday, I am one unhappy customer. And as the rule of thumb goes one unhappy customer is likely to towel between 10 and 15 other people about the unsatisfactory event that took place, and thanks to modern technology when they are really upset like I am today my reach is much further because of social media, and technology.nnI don’t know what went wrong today at this location, but they need to pull it together with their customer service this is unacceptable especially in times where small businesses should be supported, but it makes it hard to support them when you get service like this

I have been trying to call for a week to schedule the best possible package you have on 2 vehicles. Nobody has answered the phone on at least 20 calls at different times of the day. The voicemail for Christie is full and I cannot leave a message. I will take my business elsewhere. I live .5 miles away and I was hoping to support local business. What a Shame!!!

I wanted the inside done. So I had to buy the package that cleans my trunk. I pay then tip another $10.00. They did not clean the backseat AT ALL. They did not lift the mats in the front or back. I had to ask them to do it again. I opened the trunk guess not done. Oh well after I explained what I paid for. It was done and looked good. I did not get my choice of air freshener that also came with the deal. I got home looked at my windshield and it looked like a piece of thread from the wipes. It's a damn scratch. So take it or leave it. But don't take your eyes off your vehicle. I thought it would be my new place.
