Grassy Waters Elementary School

I love this elementary school my first one out of 3. It will always be deep in my heart and would recommend this to anybody even my worst enemies. Perfect school with great students, great teachers, and great clubs. Go OWLS FOREVER!

Back when I went to this school teachers when it awesome and they actually cared for you... probably because that was when the school was first opened.nnAfter that the school went downhill. When my brother was in this school there was a principal (she was there since the beginning) and she didn't do the right thing.nnShort story short, my mom was the PTO president for about 4 or 5 years at the time... Bascially that can show you how trust worthy and how her relationship with the principal was. My mom even helped to build a playground / jungle gym for the kids in the back of the school. My brother was being bullied and getting pushed around by a kid that was older then him and taller than him in the same grade. Teachers didn't do anything about it, my mom then had a meeting with the principal and his parents. After hours of talking, the principal didn't want to be 'racist' towards parent and the kid that bullied my brother, so the principal didn't suspend the kid. In front of the kid, my mom gave authority to my brother if he gets bullied by the kid again to knock out the kid to the floor (since my brother knows Karate). The family and principal became in shock. The next day... My mom threw her PTO stuff and badge on the principles desk and walked out. Months later the mother of the bully kid withdrew him from the school and transfered him.nnIf you can afford it. Put your kid in a Private School, you will get your money worth in the matter of weeks and they actually care for both you and your kid. The Public school system is horrible (that's also including the FCAT in order to pass the grade level).

When I went to this school I it was a great experience ! The teachers were really nice ! The staff were amazing ! I totally recommend Grassy Waters Elementary !

Love this school! Great teachers and lots of unique programs.
