This a really cool place especially if you're into historic places. The museum is informative and includes lots of pictures and an assortment of weapons used during the time period. Walking the grounds and around the fort was amazing. They left the bunkhouses and other quarters in the kind of condition they might have been in during the occupation of the fort by the military. I really enjoyed the the self tour, its worth the visit. By the way, they do offer educational guided tours and demonstrations but call and check in advance for scheduling.
Alot of construction going on. Ruins the experience a bit. But nice to be able to go back in time and see everything displayed as if it were frozen in time.
Fantastic experience for the entire family. The park and fort are very well maintained. Will definitely visit again.
Great place to explore and see how a long time ago defences were built.
Awesome place to come & enjoy trails to walk & learn about history..also fishing is gr8
