After spending 2 hours surrounded by the most beautiful butterflies I've ever seen, I'm feeling incredibly peaceful and happy!ud83eudd8bud83eudd8bud83eudd8bud83dudc1bud83dudc1b Wonderful place.... Very educational. The bug museum is also outstanding (never realized they have such HUGE bugs in New Guinea, for example--I don't think I ever want to go there)ud83dude2cud83dude33ud83dude05nTom in the garden shop was very helpful and assisted my friend in choosing host plants for a variety of different butterflies as well as nectar plants so she can start her own butterfly garden.nI'm hopeful that enough people will become interested in these beautiful pollinators and will also start their own butterfly gardens! Bees, butterflies and birds are critical for our planet's health and our children's future after all.nHighly recommend!
It's worth getting a year-pass instead of a one-time ticket. The butterfly oasis areas are just phenomenal and special, nothing like I've previously experienced, with butterflies fluttering freely all around you. Our favorite was the bug zoo, where there are both pinned and live critters, and I'd totally go there again just to spend the day in that part. The downside with current restrictions: you always have to wear a mask, even though you're mainly outside and always on your own. I hope that improves soon.
This was my first time visiting. It was very clean, plenty of parking space, I didn't get the $5.00 off admission price but that's okay. I got some nice little souvenirs. I love how the souvenirs weren't crazy priced. I think I got three different things. All pink with butterflies on them. I went alone and it was still an amazing experience. Will definitely go again. ud83eudd8bud83dude42ud83dudc9b
Very nice place to take family! The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a plethora of butterflies. I’m typically afraid of insects but I let the butterflies fly all over me because I was captivated by their beautiful colors. It’s a great place for a short day trip; I only spent less than 2 hours there. And, great experience for children younger than 2.
Very nice butterfly and bird sanctuary but pricey admission.
