Pulling me over for not having a third brake light. Law states you don’t need it but if you have one it has to work. Then they searched my Jeep for no reason. Find my gun locked up and unloaded. And tried to charge me for having a gun in my possession. My legally owned firearm. All thrown out in court. I think this counts of abuse of power in my opinion. Waukesha County is cool usually but municipal needs some better supervision.

Watch where you park in Waukesha. They'll ticket you for parking less than 15 ft from a crosswalk. I've never had trouble in MKE county. I got a speeding ticket in a school zone marked 15 mph. There were no children anywhere at all, and I was driving the same speed as all other cars. Cops there are bastards.
Well stopped me for no reason tested me for 30 minutes and i was not drinking
If you purchase a parking permit do it at the beginning of the month! I moved to Waukesha and I didn’t know I needed an overnight parking permit. Ignorance not being an excuse I paid the $20 fine and purchased a one month permit for $12. Walked out and realized it was only valid till the end of the month and the lady didn’t bother to explain that to me and it was the second part of the month. Listen, I respect what police do for keeping our city safe but some common sense in the fees would go a long way.
