Keefe Vacation Rentals

Kim and Terri were very helpful in the summer rental of our home up in Lauderdale Lakes, Wisconsin. They gave us tips for easy rental; took beautiful pictures; posted on an impressive website; and kept us informed every step of the way. Great job!

Do not recommend. The property was ok, but the customer service was horrendous. We were in Lake Geneva for a wedding and were staying with another couple. My wife and one of the other couple were in the bridal party, and when we got the final schedule for the wedding a couple days in advance, we realized that they would have to get ready before the standard check-in time of 4pm, so I called to see if we could check in a bit early. I was told that this was impossible as there was a group checking out late at 1pm and the cleaning service would be at the unit until 4. This was a lie, as I went to check on the property around 2pm (as I told the Keefe representative I would do) and it was cleaned and ready for arrival. If we had known this, we would not have had to make very inconvenient alternative arrangements so my wife could be ready for the wedding festivities.nnNot only did Keefe lie about check-in, they lied about check out as well. We contacted them early on the morning we were leaving to see if we could check out a bit late (11am instead of 10am). We were told that this was impossible because we made the request too late, and that the cleaning crew was coming at 10am sharp. This was also a lie. Though we were packed and ready to go at 10am as requested, we noted that no cleaning crew had arrived at the property by at least 10:25 when we departed the area.nnI have no idea what the Keefe staff was thinking when making these decisions. The least they could have done was charge us the standard $75 fee for early check-in, rather than simply telling us it wasn't possible. I have no idea why they would not let us check out late when there was apparently no reason not to.

We decided in 2014 to rent out our beautiful home for one month in 2015 and selected Keefe to handle the project. We did so after checking the reputation of Kim Yopp and Keefe which came out very positive so we enlisted her service. We are very pleased with our choice and would recommend her to anyone.

I recently stayed at a property on Lake Elizabeth with a large group. The house was as described with plenty of sleeping space for 12. The location made it great for boating activities and enough room for activities for a large group. I would definitely stay at this property again!
