The company itself was amazing, however our realitor took advantage of a young couple buying their first home said to “hurry up and sign the documents there is no time” In this documents she added a 5,000$ bonus in the middle of a 500 lined unrelated to fee’s misleading document and never mentioned the “bonus” or 5,000 to us, we found out we were scammed on the title at signing. She made 5k more than the listing agent and stole from us. Not only did she steal from us, was only available for 2 days during the negotiation period when we had Plummer’s, AC, and roofers scheduled she denied them entry to quote the fixes because she was “out of town” . She maid 2x as much as the listing agent, never once found a house for us to view I did all the searching, and she took advantage of first home buyers. Imagine waking up 4 days before signing and seeing 5,000$ added to your offer. We had 4 days to change everything, had to return ordered furniture, cancel a plumbing service, and re plan all of our financials. When confronted we were told to bad you signed it. It was the worst experience of my life to be scammed and to see the joy in their face they were 5,000$ richer, I wanted to stop the house buy in all but she then said your stuck with me regardless you signed a contract for that too. After speaking to her supervisors there was nothing they could do without terminating the current title and all the documents that took weeks. It was either be homeless for two weeks to get our money and possibly loose house Or chalk it up as a learning experience and try to get our 5,000$ back after the fact. Our realitor that represented ColdWell Banker was Stephanie, and she was terrible to work with, rude and only cared about herself. My father, the AC, and Plummer’s and my wife after first conversation said we needed a new realitor and I wish I had listened but part of me felt bad for her daughter that she always brought to the house showings. Very unprofessional and threatened me with police when I was mad and wanted legitimate answers about the 5,000. Stephanie will not go far as a realitor, she is a terrible person and will never find happiness, I do believe the AC company, and Plummer’s are currently writing a review as well. Part of me hopes Coldwell Banker will do the right thing and reimburse my family and I because what happened to us was far from ethical. We were treated like trash and I have all the text messages, and emails that show now unprofessional and shady our realitor was.nWith all that being said thank you ColdWell Banker for validating my claims and saying “you do not believe she will make it in this industry” that gave me some piece of mind, know-one should ever go though what we did during a beautiful first home buying process, it is comparable to a scam. From her threatening to call the cops on us, down playing our offer, and leaving me alone at the title signing I am disgusted, and I am sorry if the following reviews from my father, Genoa City Heating and Cooling, and Gremo’s Roof Repair hurt your company’s reputation But they too were mistreated by this person.
