A great way to spend a half of a day. Our 20 month old twins even managed to stay engaged and not get too squirmy until the end. We enjoyed the train ride and the stop at Elegant Farmer for apple cider donuts. However, if the stop at Elegant Farmer is your main destination, just plan to do it separately. The staff were great and the gift shop didn’t break the bank.
It was nice to do once. That being said, they do a good job of making it an enjoyable trip.
Had a great time. Conductors are very hospitable. Interesting railway history. Recommend purchasing tickets online so you have time to look around museum. Will be back again especially for the dinner on the train events.
Our conductor Matt made the trip a pleasure. The motorman let kids blow the whistle. The whole staff and organization does a great job following Coivd-19 guidelines. A gem of history.
Love all the volunteers, we are members of this fine place, so we have rode the train a few times, each time is an adventure and we learn more about this amazing icon!
