It was my first time here. I didn't know there was a lift for boats to get from one chain of lakes to the other. Wish we could have seen it in action. Beautiful spot regardless.
What a scenic location middle of forest
Food was very good here!
Cool place to stop. If you're lucky you'll get to see a boat going over. And if you're in a boat exploring both chains is awesome.
Only way to get to/from upper chain (Three Lakes) and lower chain (Eagle River) without putting your boat on a trailer. The boat hoist can handle a variety of sized boats and reasonably priced. No reservation required.
