I attended the Farm auction of Danny Strey yesterday on Apache ave in Freemont/West Bloomfield. I know Dan and his Father Jerry from doing some repair work on the farm and through mutual friends. We are sad to see young dairymen going out of business because there are no Dairy supply management parameters in place yet. Hopefully soon there will be, so young farmers will once again be able to start farming and compete again. Freedom to farm in America should be available to all American citizens not a select few! An auction like this is not easy to attend. I want to thank the Nolan's Auction Team for treating Dan as Fairly as the markets could support at their current disparity. I also want to thank the Nolan's team for being fair to the buyer also. I have been to many auctions. Nolan's is very fair and honest and run there business with integrity. I appreciate the work they do and the excellent staff they employ. I believe an auction company managed in this manner provides an excellent service to the community. I have witnessed other local auction companies managing an auction in a covert manner to appeal to the banker who hired them, that is wrong, Nolan's is right! Thank you to the Nolan's Team and Family!
