On this day they were having a yard sale of mainly vintage items, perfect! And a lovely warm September day twas.nnThe Octogan house is virtually guaranteed to stop any visitor in their tracks. Really really is very beautiful, charming and delightful to the eyes. If you're gonna be in the area you really should come and see

I grew up next to the Octagon House. I've been on two tours and its best interesting. The detail of items they have on display brings you back in time.

This place is full of local history. We had a great guided tour. The guides asked if there were any questions in each room. It was very interesting.
