After all the time I've put into preparing my child for school teaching her to write her name read etc she go to school and play no homework no class work play all day so now my child come home forgetting things I've taught her she's 4 she'll be 5 in February kids in her class not writing their name yet I asked the teacher could she have my daughter to continue to write her name on her papers they don't use pencils I don't understand how is this preparing kids for kindergarten or 1st grade my child only education is coming from home I guess because this school is located in a more poor neighborhood the teachers aren't use to parents that actually care about their child education I asked can my child be tested to be put into kindergarten instead of pre k being that she is academically and developmentally advanced they told me no the kids cry everyday they don't know their colors yet my child is way past that stage she will be 5 she was learning colors at 2yrs this school pre k is like daycare if nothing can be changed I will remove my child from this school
