Not completely dissatisfied......... I recently had my home sold by Eva Luna from Deming Realty - and although my home sold quickly her lack of responsiveness, empathy and profesionalisim really impacted my review and feelings for Deming Realty. Remember that a speedy sale doesn't always equal a successful sale. I grew up in Deming on the property I was selling and I was hesitant to sell. I was unaware of what price I wanted to list my home so I decided to seek out services from a realty company. I wanted a realtor who showed empathy, who was going to educate me on the best selling price and take care of my property. I didn't want a "post and pray," type realtor. I wanted to be involved in my sale. I should have probably stated that information to her initially - my fault, I guess. I live in San Antonio and Eva was recommended by my cousin who bought a home from her. We met with Eva and she seemed very eager to get started. It helped that she was bilingual. I didn't really have time to research for other realtors so I went with her. I gave her a price I wanted to start with and she insisted on a price that was about $25,000 less than the one I wanted. We finally settled on a price but I was still hesitant as I felt it was low. She stated that she felt she did not have the "comps," to support the price as the area was not a good area and my home was old. I appreciate honesty, and it did not bother me to hear this. To start off with it was hard to communicate with Eva because it seemed that she was very busy. I made things easier by hiring a caretaker for my property to keep the property clean and free of "Squatters." I though that would assist Eva in selling my home quickly. I am glad I hired someone because I never heard from Eva as to wether or not she had been over to my property and wether it was doing ok. She did text me on occasion to tell me she was showing my property. When we finally got a buyer negotiations began - we settled on a price. She gave me a date for closing and I asked for more time and she submitted an extension. The Title Company (Luna County Abstract & Title) was although a little slow and lacked responsiveness as well. When they emailed me the closing docs no one called me or anything - just instructions on how to fill out and a number to call if I had questions. I promptly filled out and had a notary on hand so I could mail the docs back that day. The Title Company didn't even contact me to let me know they received my docs and that everything was in order. I asked Eva about the hold up and she said - "if I had any questions I should contact the title Company directly," oh...ok. I emailed the company and finally received an email back from Madison Maynes. We finally closed. Moving on I contacted the owner Totsie Slover to express my concerns and her answer was simply that , "Eva was very overwhelmed," and Totsie seemed to have no care or concern herself, by simply saying hmmm, uh huh to everything I said I told her that a simple thank you for my business and trust would of sufficed - but she seemed even scared herself as an owner to articulate any type of care. She thanked me for calling. Eva never even thanked me for my business. I will not recommend her to anyone. I sold my property on 27 Aug and its now 30 Aug and never heard back from her. I think that's rude and unprofessional. So all in all if you are interested in just selling your home without any concern or involvement in the sale, than this is your place and realtor. This is one of the most unprofessional realty service I have yet to come across in my 10 years of purchasing properties. They lie about the house conditions, they lie about the time they will be there. Eva Luna is specifically one of the most disrespectful and time wasting agent in the office. She needs to impose so much control to feel better about her self that it is humorous to watch. We have been wanting to see a high end house in Deming for three month and Eva seems to be "out of town" and no key is available for a view. After talking to many of the locals, they all agreed that Deming Reality is for a fact a waste of time. I have spoken to two people that had their priorities listed with Deming Reality and a year plus they didn't sell nor did they had any showing. The owners decided to sell the properties themselves and they sold within 6 month. That alone tells me how this company is not motivated to sell the properties of the sellers. I feel sorry for all the sellers who depend on this company. This company is going to hurt the real estate market of Deming in no time due to their laziness.

I would avoid this place. I have a property in town rented through them.I have repeatedly called and left e-mails. No response.

Heather Wood couldn't be more helpful! She was there every step of the way until our house closed. She also knows a great deal about Deming and shared it with us.
