Out of what I was looking for but not their fault
I go in to buy a $65k building and am told I need to buy a mask. I would figure they could probably given me a courtesy free mask.
My Menards store in Fridley, MN did not have some of the little Claw Machine toys that I wanted so I asked them to check on the store over in St Croix Falls, Wisconsin and they had 25 of them, so I took an early Morning drive this morning with my dog, over across the St. Croix River and through the Woods and this Menards store in Saint Croix Falls is an Awesome huge store and had all kinds of neat things there, lots of supplies on hand and a lot of people shopping early!nI had a good time shopping there and brought my Yellow Lab Bella with me too so we have had a nice car ride through it all!!
Based on our location, we have a choice of Forest Lake or Saint Croix Falls Menards stores. We always opt for the Saint Croix Falls location. The store itself is extremely clean and the staff are very very helpful. No matter what the project is you can always get help there if you have questions. They're always willing to go the extra mile. Many times, they offer additional solutions, options and choices.
I used to love this store. It was clean and the workers were mostly friendly. I even appreciate them spaying down carts when the virus stuff started. Eventually they mandated masks, even though our region is not required to do so. Due to breathing issues, I can no longer shop there. When I contacted customer service via their website to ask about reasonable accommodations, they ignored my email altogether.nnI am disappointed in Menards mandating masks without reasonable accommodation rather than leaving it up to the customer. I have since found several wonderful local hardware stores and lumberyards to be more helpful and more than willing to take my business (And the lumber yard has straighter boards than Menards). I will likely avoid Menards for the foreseeable future and use my money to support local establishments.
