The Red Wing Amtrak station is a fun, relaxing place to be! Trains come by pretty frequently, which is good news for you railfans! I would recommend!

The depot at Red Wing is a restored Milwaukee Road building that has been kept in excellent condition by the City of Red Wing. There is a nice, clean waiting room and rest rooms, and a visitor center located inside. Although there is short and long term parking on site, the ramp, belonging to the St. James Hotel across the road, has monitored long term parking for only $10 per stay. There are no vending machines in the depot. The depot is open until 11:00 PM.
