Thank you The Erni’s would like to thank Daniel’s Funeral Home (Strong-Thorne) for going above and beyond for the services of our loved one, Charles Erni. While a loved one’s passing is never easy, our loved one’s passing was made more difficult due to COVID 19 pandemic. Because of the pandemic, we were not able to have a traditional “home going celebration” with military funeral honors. Saddened but in acceptance, we kept faith that Charles’s services would be beautiful, regardless. We experienced true beauty and peace when out of the kindness of their hearts, Reverend Smith and the Funeral Ambassador acknowledged Charles’s military service by folding and presenting the United States flag and sounding the TAPS. We are extremely grateful and appreciative to Daniel’s Funeral Home for the wonderful service they provided for Charles and the compassionate disposition displayed by Daniel’s employees throughout this difficult process. The Strong Thorne Funeral home especially Rev. Napoleon Darnell Smith exceeded my family’s expectations. While my heart goes out to the family below, we were shown compassion and caring for not only our loved one but the entire family.

The total lack of caring was evident on so many levels that it broke my heart. The final insult was when they dropped my mom's casket removing it from the hearse at the cemetery. I would never recommend this funeral home. They did not run on time. But the general lack of caring was the most insulting aspect of the whole ordeal.
